Ever wondered what the lifestyle of an investment banker is like? ZK7 got an insight into the life of a London based investment banker, Pallavi (28), who shared some of her trading floor and travel experiences.

What is your fun fact?
I’m a twin!
What is it like being an investment banker?
It’s stressful but I do enjoy it and I’m so grateful for the life it gives me. City life is high paced and busy generally.
What are your highlights?
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say but the parties are amazing and it’s not far off from the film, Wolf of Wall Street.
What’s the craziest experience you’ve had whilst travelling?
So in India, I actually ended up needing high security because I got followed by people so often, which was so weird.
What is your most memorable ocean adventure?
Jet skiing was amazing in Turkey and Dubai.
What is your best food memory?
Eating from a banana leaf on the floor in a temple in India. It was the best food ever and so peaceful. Everyone should try it one day, it’s like meditating atmosphere!
What is your favourite country?
Malta
What is your dream?
To be happy and live a life that gives happiness to other people.
How has travelling experiences changed you?
I think there is always something to learn and adopt from other cultures to better our everyday living.
How do you stay safe abroad?
I always travel in groups and always ask hotel staff for advice.
Who would you choose as a famous travel companion and where would you go?
I would say Kevin Hart because travelling with a comedian would be full of laughs all the time.
What is the nicest thing a stranger has done for you?
Someone gave me free scarf even when I said no so many times. They forced me to take it but it was so sweet. We had talked for ages randomly in a shop and I gave them advice on life.
Which city would you live in for the rest of your life if you had to?
It would have to be somewhere hot, maybe Bali.
How have you built your confidence?
I spend time alone and working out what makes me feel good and happy.
What advice would you give your 16 year old self about the future?
Work on yourself every day to be happier and a better person.
What is next for you in your life?
I would love to start my own business.
What do you want to be remembered for?
For being kind caring and a good person.
